About the Role

This is a new and strategically important role within the FSC North America regional team.

As Supply Chain Network Manager, you will play a key role in connecting supply and demand for FSC-certified products across the forestry value chain in the US and Canada. By developing data-driven insights, visual mapping, and market intelligence, you will enable FSC teams to better support current and future certificate holders — ultimately contributing to the growth of FSC Forest Management and Chain of Custody certification.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop supply chain “heat maps” to visualize demand, supply, gaps, and bottlenecks
  • Integrate external industry data with FSC datasets using Power BI and related tools
  • Provide data and insights to support business development, outreach prioritization, and matchmaking
  • Research and monitor industry trends, market developments, and news relevant to FSC
  • Act as a connector between regional network partners and FSC International teams, especially Policy & Performance and Value Chain Development
  • Support evidence-based decision-making across the North America team

Your profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, forestry, data science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within the forest products sector or related industries
  • Legal authorization to work in the USA or Canada

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills
  • Ability to create custom, practical solutions by combining internal and external data
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with AI tools
  • Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences (virtual and in-person)
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and effective with remote collaboration tools
  • Collaborative mindset with a strategic, problem-solving approach
