News Editor
We are seeking for a news editor/reporter to join its stellar publishing team. Day-to-day duties will include copyediting press releases, covering news developments and providing coverage of events/happenings.
A degree in journalism is preferred; strong work ethic is required.
Qualifications:
-Must have solid editing skills with a sharp eye for detail and excellent
command of grammar/punctuation
Ideally 5 yrs or more of news writing/editing experience
Must know AP style
BA/BS in Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, English, or equivalent a plus
Solid research/investigative skills
Interpersonal, networking skills and good sense of humor are mandatory
Dedicated, ambitious, quick, confident and serious
Must be comfortable working with explicit subject matter
Must be a team player
