POSITION SUMMARY

To provide analytical support and facilitate efficient material management for the completion of New Product Development Projects. Analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting general office administrative functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Create Oracle Purchase Orders for Materials, Testing and Contract Services for New Product Development (NPD) Projects. Issue internal requisition to procure internal inventory. PO maintenance, material receiving in Oracle. Correct and approve invoices in DataServ for transfer into Oracle.
  • Support NPD Financial Reporting and Analysis. Setup new Projects and GL Accounts. Run Department Financial and Project Data Reports, dashboards, charts or similar. Collaborate with Finance on tax Credit initiatives and resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies. Manage Fuel Card and petty cash purchases, balancing and reimbursements.
  • Support Engineering ePlanner functions including managing ePlanner groups, project set up, initial tasking, Shop technician hours entry, and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support managing employee lists by group, organization charts and seating arrangements.
  • Maintain employee job descriptions and employee performance review paperwork for department.
  • Coordinate and support on-site meetings with suppliers or internal personnel as required.
  • Manage department stationary supplies as needed.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • High school diploma required, Post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role (purchasing, financial reporting, administrative support).
  • Ability to effectively operate computers and other equipment necessary to perform essential functions.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Oracle PO functions, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
