Network Technical Integration Lead

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Network Technical Integration Lead to drive engineering execution, quality, and safe change into production environments. This role leads end-to-end technical integration, owns non-functional requirements and resilience patterns, and promotes automation as the default approach. The position also provides engineering leadership, strengthens operational resilience, and ensures continuous improvement across network and security platforms.

What you will do:

 

  • Own end-to-end design including non-functional requirements, integration contracts, resilience patterns, and rollback plans.
  • Build testable runbooks and define change rehearsal, smoke testing, soak testing, and rollback activities.
  • Lead engineering quality through code reviews for infrastructure as code and runbook automation.
  • Embed Site Reliability Engineering practices including error budgets and toil reduction.
  • Drive defect analytics and lead remediation sprints.
  • Continuously improve standard change models and expand automation coverage.
  • Lead safe change execution into production environments.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen engineering standards and operational discipline.
  • Lead ITIL-aligned change processes and Major Incident Management activities.
  • Conduct structured Post Implementation Reviews to reinforce a disciplined improvement culture.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across network, identity, endpoint, proxy, and SIEM or SOAR layers.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including change failure rate, mean time to resolution, automated test coverage, percentage of changes moved to standard or automated categories, and reduction in repeat incidents.
  • Eight to ten or more years of experience in network and security environments with design, build, and operate responsibilities across at least one major technology stack.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience leading ITIL change management and Major Incident Management processes.
  • Proven experience fostering a disciplined Post Implementation Review culture.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capability across network, identity, endpoint, proxy, and SIEM or SOAR technologies.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities within engineering teams.
  • CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
  • Zscaler Professional, Fortinet NSE 4 or higher, or Splunk Admin or Enterprise Security certifications preferred.
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional or equivalent certification preferred.
