About the Role
As a Network Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network resources. Your expertise will help prevent security breaches, detect and respond to threats, and ensure secure connectivity across our organization.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, WAFs VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
Troubleshoot complex network and security issues, recreating problems in lab environments when needed.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyze security risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee operational security tasks, including monitoring, backup management, and disaster recovery planning.
Develop, enforce, and optimize security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain and improve network security documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Assist in security incident response, identifying, containing, and mitigating threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security in IT infrastructure and business processes.
Research and recommend new security technologies and solutions to strengthen network defenses.
