We are searching for a Network Security Engineer (m/w/d), working in our Network Security Team.

Key respoinsibilities are

  • Internal consulting about network security / firewall implementations;
  • Maintaining full system lifecycle of network security systems with external operations partners and local ITs;
  • Improvement, streamlining and extension of current network security architecture;
  • Participating in projects, organizing and implementing work streams related to network / network security.
  • Performance analytics and troubleshooting;
  • System automation.
  • University degree in Computer Sciences and/or existing experiences with Enterprise Network Security Systems;
  • Good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol family, Proxies / Load Balancers, VPN technologies, typical HA implementations and firewall functionality;
  • Skills on major firewall system vendors (e.g. Check Point, Fortinet, ...) and/or load balancing;
  • System monitoring;
  • Linux, scripting, python, ansible;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages (e.g. German, Romanian, Spanish, Mandarin/trad Chinese...) would be nice;
  • Experiences in working in a multi-national environment;
  • Good communication skills and high orientation on team goals;
  • There may be a small amount of travelling involved (< 5%);
