Network Planning Engineering - Melbourne, Florida

Location: Melbourne, Florida (Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field from a 4-year accredited institution

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering with IP networks

• 6+ years of experience in design, development, and implementation of IP and MPLS network architectures

Technical Skills:

• Strong IP configuration and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with protocols such as:

  • PIM, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPLS, VRFs, L3VPN, Ethernet

  • (Expertise in all is not required — candidates with solid experience in some will be considered)

• Experience creating IP Addressing Plans

• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio

• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
