Drive the commercial and financial performance of IONITY’s pan-European charging network through strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth and cost optimization.

Your mission

As Network Performance Manager, you will drive the commercial and financial performance of IONITY’s pan-European charging network.  This will involve identifying and implementing strategic initiatives to increase revenues, optimize cost structures, and enhance capital efficiency across our portfolio.  Using a highly data-driven approach, you will uncover performance drivers at site and portfolio level and translate insights into actionable improvements.  Combined with an entrepreneurial attitude and a keen attention to detail, the position is a key pillar of our heightened focus on ensuring the financial health of our portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, pricing, energy management, and network development.  It plays a critical role in optimizing the performance of our assets today, while shaping the future direction of IONITY’s network expansion and general strategy.  You will also support the broader Network Planning & Partnerships and Network Development teams, contributing to cross-functional initiatives that influence IONITY’s long-term growth.  This will provide a comprehensive understanding of our overall activities and the opportunity to define the long-term future of the company as we lead the transition to electric mobility in Europe.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive initiatives to maximize commercial performance across IONITY’s European charging network (revenue growth, cost optimization, asset efficiency).
  • Analyze site-level and portfolio-level performance drivers and translate insights into concrete optimization measures.
  • Act as the link between Network Development and other IONITY departments, particularly those involved with strategy, pricing, energy management and marketing.
  • Support the transition to a decentralised responsibility for the financial performance of IONITY´s network by developing structures, reporting and a true sense of ownership and empowerment.
  • Monitor and optimize the installed capacity of chargers on IONITY´s network, balancing customer experience with financial KPIs and relying heavily on data.
  • Foster a culture of performance ownership and share learnings across the company to inform the optimal development of our future network.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and performance dashboards; evaluate and implement third-party analytical tools where appropriate.
  • Contribute to investment decisions by supporting network fit and business case evaluation of new site candidates (NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis).

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in network planning, strategy, infrastructure optimization, or commercial performance management (e-mobility, energy or infrastructure sectors).
  • Proven experience in commercial analysis and management, ideally in an infrastructure or energy context.
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis, project management and presentation.
  • Proven ability to translate performance insights into actionable strategic initiatives.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration and alignment with technical and commercial teams, whilst achieving buy-in from senior management.
  • Understanding of infrastructure investment and financial evaluation (business case modelling, NPV, IRR).
  • Demonstratable entrepreneurial spirit with a curiosity to challenge assumptions and the passion drive a culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Fluent ability in written and spoken English, other European languages a plus.
