About the Opportunity

At Ting Internet, our network is the backbone of how we connect communities. As an Engineer II, Network Operations, you’ll play a key role in keeping our telecommunications network systems reliable, scalable, and performing at their best.

In this role, you’ll support the operation, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure across local and remote environments. You’ll work closely with teammates across engineering and operations, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor, operate, and support day-to-day network systems with an intermediate level of proficiency
    Assist with quality assurance and testing of network infrastructure and services
  • Identify network issues, investigate root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Contribute recommendations for improvements to network systems, tools, and processes
  • Collaborate within a broader product or system, building influence through technical contributions and teamwork

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in designing, developing, and maintaining complex network operating systems
  • Ability to work within established guidelines to resolve moderately complex, well-defined problems
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
    Comfort working independently with general supervision and clear objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
    2–4 years of experience in network operations or a related engineering role

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 USD for US residents OR $80,000 - $90,000 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
