What is Network Integration & Implementation Engineer?

Network Integration & Implementation Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical solutions and network-related projects which includes managed services and system integration for customer end services delivery across Jazz’s enterprise solutions domain.

In addition, they will oversee the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, SLAs and client requirements.

The role requires close coordination with internal and external stakeholders such as Network and Field Operations and Planning, Vendor, Customer technical teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

This position reports directly to the Regional Manager – Service Delivery and has coordination responsibilities across multiple cross-functional delivery teams.

What does Network Integration & Implementation Engineer do?

  • Lead end-to-end project deployments for internet, data, voice services, covering key phases such as network design, configuration, installation, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Design and implement WAN solutions like Enterprise WAN, Carrier-grade WAN, SD-WAN including routing, switching, and security technologies, HLDs, LLDs, RFP/RFI responses, and deployment guidelines.
  • Manage complete service delivery cycle including but not limited to traditional WAN solutions based on MPLS L2/L3 VPN, Multi-homed Internet, SIP-based VOIP, DPLCs and L2 solutions based on xSTP, QinQ, LAG including onsite installation and configuration of Multi-vendor CPEs (routers, switches, firewalls, APs) such as Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Huawei etc.
  • Provide managed services including SD-WAN, SASE, DCN, managed Wi-Fi, firewall-as-a-service, and cloud-based call-center/VOIP solutions, Voice (IP/PABX), including integration with customer’s existing network.
  • Delivery of M2M/IoT based solutions including coordination with field teams for escalations requiring physical intervention.
  • Handle change management and support which may include remote configurations/provisioning and onsite support at customer premises including training/guidance of client technical teams.
  • Collaborate with and engage OEMs and partners for design and delivery where required. Also participate in OEM/Distributor Post-Sales related trainings as needed.
  • Lead routine software and hardware upgrade and troubleshooting activities during on/off-business hours.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, facilitate project meetings, stakeholder communications, progress tracking and reviews with leadership.
  • Act as a technical liaison during onboarding and post-deployment phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in service delivery to drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Conduct In-house Testing of new products/services for viability.

 

Key Deliverables

On-time and within-scope customer services delivery of projects which also include managed services and system integration related projects.

Updated documentation repository including project plans, network diagrams, HLDs, LLDs, and services delivery records.

Communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholder including onsite troubleshooting visits at customer end and online meetings ensuring alignment across network, operations, and customer technical teams.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Network Integration & Implementation Engineer?

  • 6–8 years of experience in Services Delivery of Managed Services and System Integration (Routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi APs, etc.) for multiple customers.
  • Strong knowledge of IP Networks, Report writing and Data Analysis.
    • Must have relevant certification of CCNP, JNCIA, HCIP.
    • Proven experience of BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC, SIP, Routing, Switching, QinQ, IoT and Cloud Technologies.
  • He/she must demonstrate good presentation skills and fluent in English & Urdu.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile, and tools such as MS Project or Jira.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage vendor deliverables under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical, Computer), Computer Science, or IT.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise with Cisco, Fortinet, and Huawei network security solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate/FortiAnalyzer/FortiManager, Cisco FTD/FMC, Huawei iMaster NCE platform.
  • Require hands-on exposure to Fortinet, Cisco (Viptela/Meraki), and Huawei SD-WAN technologies for implementation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise WAN environments.
