Looking for a LAN - Wireless Network Engineer fully remote anywhere in Romania.
Primary Skills
Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network solutions
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, cloud, and infrastructure
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives
Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures
Ensure compliance with client-specific security and regulatory standards
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and stakeholders
Job requirements
7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or support roles
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.)
Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.)
Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
Ability to work with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
