The position requires availability for on‑call duty approximately once every 1–1.5 months, as well as regular travel to company branches 2–3 times per month.
- Managing IT network infrastructure across WAN, SD‑WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments.
- Monitoring network performance, capacity, and scalability, and implementing enhancements where needed.
- Delivering IT infrastructure projects, including solution deployment and installation of network equipment throughout the Iberia region (Spain and Portugal).
- Troubleshooting, analyzing, and ensuring the reliable operation of LAN/WAN networks and connected devices such as computers, printers, and PDAs.
- Automating routine tasks and tracking their efficiency.
- Developing documentation standards, templates, and procedural guidelines.
- Providing technical support to development teams and business support functions.
- Min. 5 years of experience in large international organizations in a Network Engineer role or similar.
- Extensive hands‑on experience in network routing, switching, and Wi‑Fi configuration.
- University degree in technical studies.
- Strong practical background in network security and VPN setup.
- Experience in scripting and implementing automation solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational capabilities and mentoring skills.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Good command of spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.
- Knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team‑oriented mindset.
- Valid category B driving license.
- Solid experience working with FortiGate and Cisco switching technologies.
