Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support, operate, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, firewall, and data center environments. The role involves hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, incident response, and lifecycle maintenance of critical network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure in enterprise environments

• Perform network configuration, deployment, and operational changes

• Administer and troubleshoot firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto) and load balancers (F5)

• Manage and support data center networking, including Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus platforms

• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure availability and SLA compliance

• Perform firmware, patching, and network lifecycle upgrades

• Work with cross-functional teams for deployments, incident management, and security compliance

• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

• Participate in on-call rotations for critical network support (as applicable)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in Network Engineering / NOC / Data Center Ops

• Strong knowledge in:
  ✔ LAN / WAN networking
  ✔ Routing & Switching
  ✔ Firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto)
  ✔ Load Balancers (F5)
  ✔ Cisco Data Center platforms (ACI, Nexus)

• Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes

• Solid troubleshooting skills in mission-critical environments

• Certifications such as:

  • CompTIA Network+

  • CCNA / CCNP

  • CCSA (Checkpoint)

  • F5 Certified Administrator

  • CCIE (preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience with network automation / scripting

• Exposure to SD-WAN

• Experience in banking, telco, or regulated environments

• ITIL knowledge
