Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Network Engineer! The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the program’s network infrastructure. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing network systems while collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills, staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

The Work:

Design, implement, manage, and optimize network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with IT teams and program stakeholders to develop network policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring compliance with IT standards and best practices.
Conduct network assessments, support SDN architectures, and implement automated configuration processes.
Maintain thorough network documentation and support continuous improvement efforts.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and data security best practices.

Here's what you need:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field
(or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
Hands‑on experience with network equipment such as Cisco and Juniper.
Proficiency in configuration and troubleshooting tools and methods (e.g., Wireshark).
Experience with SDN, network assessments, automated configurations, and documentation development.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Bonus points if you have:

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
Familiarity with enterprise‑level IT environments and security standards.

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
