Network Business Analyst

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Network Business Analyst to bridge business and risk objectives with technical change initiatives. This role focuses on capturing and documenting requirements, mapping them to controls, maintaining traceability to regulatory obligations, and demonstrating measurable value delivered through remediation. The position plays a key role in aligning service processes, strengthening governance, and supporting network and security programmes within a financial services environment.

What you will do: 

  • Elicit and document user journeys, process maps, and control requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of requirements to NIST Cybersecurity Framework categories and regulatory obligations.
  • Write clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Orchestrate user acceptance testing and compile evidence packs.
  • Map as-is and to-be service processes across incident, problem, change, and vulnerability management.
  • Support Change Advisory Board documentation and communication.
  • Quantify risk reduction, service level improvements, and user impact.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting packs for stakeholders.
  • Translate qualitative risk into measurable outcomes and actionable insights.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including traceability coverage, cycle time from story readiness to acceptance, first-time pass rate, and measurable benefit realisation.
  • Minimum five years of Business Analyst experience within financial services, network, or security programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and ServiceNow workflows.
  • Experience maintaining requirements-to-controls traceability within regulated environments.
  • Strong data literacy and analytical capability.
  • Proven stakeholder facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with NIST Cybersecurity Framework controls.
  • BCS Business Analysis certification preferred.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.
  • Vendor fundamentals knowledge such as Cisco, Zscaler, Fortinet, or Splunk desirable.
