Network Analytics Leader is responsible for aligning, directing, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality data, analytics, and insights that support Quest Analytics’ strategic objectives and meet the operational and strategic needs of health plan and provider clients.
This role owns the analytic methodology, data integrity, feasibility assessment, and execution of analytics solutions across the organization. This role serves as the primary analytics partner to Product, Sales, Client Services, and Network teams, ensuring that analytics efforts are prioritized appropriately, delivered with rigor, and governed consistently.
In addition to hands-on analytic leadership, this role is responsible for managing, coaching, and mentoring junior, senior, and team lead analysts, fostering strong analytical standards, professional development, and a culture of accountability and collaboration.
What you'll do:
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary analytics point of contact to gather, interpret, and refine analytic needs from clients, Sales, Product, Client Services, and internal stakeholders.
Act as a principal liaison to data governance, reporting, and analytics platform teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
Participate in client conversations and internal planning meetings to ensure analytics outputs directly support strategic and operational decision-making.
Translate complex client questions into clear analytic problem statements, methodologies, and actionable insights.
Analytics Leadership & Delivery
Own the delivery of high-quality analytics, dashboards, and insights that are accurate, consistent, scalable, and actionable.
Establish and enforce standards for analytic rigor, data visualization, storytelling, and executive-level communication.
Develop and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure analytic integrity across all deliverables.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and consistency across real-time, historical, trended, and predictive analytics.
Proactively identify data quality risks and opportunities for enhancement and drive remediation efforts
Collaboration with Product & Innovation Teams
Partner with Product teams to support early-stage product concepts by:
o Assessing data availability, analytic feasibility, and methodological soundness
o Providing feasibility and scalability guidance for proposed measures, insights, and workflows
Serve as the analytics owner for feasibility reviews of product concepts prior to prototyping and development.
Support product discovery and innovation efforts with analytic expertise while maintaining analytic governance and standards.
Collaborate with Product leadership to align analytic capacity and priorities with innovation initiatives and client commitments.
Governance, Prioritization & Alignment
Own analytic methodology, definitions, and governance for metrics, measures, and reporting frameworks across the organization.
Serve as the final analytic governance body for new measures or indicators introduced through innovation or client-driven requests.
Partner with Product and leadership teams to jointly prioritize analytics work, balancing innovation support with core client deliverables.
Maintain a clear, documented backlog of analytics initiatives and support transparent prioritization decisions.
Executive Communication & Influence
Create and present executive-level summaries and presentations for senior leadership and clients.
Synthesize complex analyses into compelling narratives that inform strategy, investment decisions, and operational actions.
Influence cross-functional leaders through data-driven insights and clear recommendations.
What you will need:
Master’s degree in information systems, Public Health, Business, or a healthcare-related field preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, preferably within payer or provider environments
Deep understanding of payer business models, provider networks, and healthcare analytics
Demonstrated experience leading and managing analytics teams across multiple levels
Strong experience with payer and provider data, performance measures, and network analytics
Expertise in data visualization, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools
Proven ability to translate business objectives into analytic strategies and deliverables
Experience working in cloud-based analytics environments and modern data platforms preferred
Familiarity with data governance, metric standardization, and enterprise analytics frameworks preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with non-technical and executive audiences
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives simultaneously
Experience using two or more of the following technologies: Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Expert level Excel
