.NET Developer - Contract (6 months - Extendable)

We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our on-site team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in .NET development, with a strong background in microservices, API architecture, Docker, and Oracle Database. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure backend systems that integrate with multiple services.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework

·         Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper structure, authentication, and security

·         Build and maintain systems using microservices architecture

·         Work with Docker containers for application deployment and scaling

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end, DevOps, QA, and product teams

·         Write efficient database queries and stored procedures using Oracle Database

·         Maintain and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, triggers, packages, and functions

·         Perform API integrations with external/internal systems

·         Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions

·         Ensure application performance, scalability, and security

·         Write unit and integration tests

Requirements

Key Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

·         5+ years of experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET / C#

·         Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (SQL & PL/SQL)

·         Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs

·         Solid understanding of microservices architecture

·         Experience working with Docker (Dockerfiles, Compose, volumes, etc.)

·         Good knowledge of API authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT)

·         Familiar with CI/CD tools, Git, and version control

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Arabic speaking is a plus

Nice to Have:

·         Experience with Oracle APEX or Oracle performance tuning

·         Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)

·         Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka

·         Familiarity with Kubernetes

·         Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

·         Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular or React
