Project Details:
This project about risk exposure is part of the client’s program to build an Underwriting Platform, vital for the underwriting process. The objective of the project is to decommission the legacy applications and further enhance the project’s core application to become the client’s central solution for managing, modelling, analyzing and visualizing exposure data. The project also aims to realize a technological shift from MSSQL Server, T-SQL etc., to Databricks, Python.
Responsibilities
· Implement features according to development guidelines
· Expand the existing code base with unit tests to ensure quality and maintainability
· Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to standards within the Scrum team
· Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards
· Resolve dependencies and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth implementation
Your Profile & Required Skills:
· Language skills: English (C1)
· Strong background in full-stack .NET development
· Experience in Azure PaaS services, including app service plans, web services, microservices, queuing, caching, serverless, messaging, storage, and databases
· Experience in coding with Azure Function Apps, including durable functions
· Proficiency in C# (>= Version 10), .NET Core, JSON, LINQ, ASP.NET Core
· Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio or JetBrains Rider, HTTP (Rest)
· Experience with Windows and Azure
· Experience working in Scrum and Agile environments
Nice to have:
· Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular
· Experience with ADO.NET, Azure Service Bus, Entity Framework (EF)/Core
· Experience with Azure SQL Database, MS SQL Server, PowerShell
· Experience with Azure Application Insights, Azure Log Analytics, Postman
· Experience with Azure DataLake and DataBricks
· Language skills: German
