Native Lingala Speaker for Audio Recording Project (Democratic Republic of the Congo)

Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project A10350 Lingala speaker recording. We are seeking native Lingala speakers from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to participate in a language recording project aimed at enhancing language technology. Participants will record a series of sentences in Lingala to provide authentic audio samples. Key Requirements: - Native Language: Lingala, with a standard accent - Age Range: 18-60 years old - Recording Conditions: Quiet, controlled environment with clear audio quality and minimal background noise Task Details: Record up to 1,000 sentences, with each recording lasting between 4-7 seconds. Silence of 1-2 seconds before and after each sentence is required. Recording Guidelines: - Natural Speech: Deliver sentences in a smooth, conversational tone without unnecessary pauses or stammering. - Moderate Volume: Speak at a natural volume, maintaining clarity without being too loud or too soft. - Consistency: Each participant should complete their assigned recordings independently to maintain consistency. Payment: Compensation is based on the number of qualifying, accepted recordings, with a rate of $0.056 USD per sentence. This role is a project-based opportunity with CrowdGen, where you will join the CrowdGen Community as an Independent Contractor.
