About the Role:

As a National Retail Sales Coordinator,  you will be responsible for driving successful business partnerships and operational support between our key National Retail Accounts, focusing on Target and Best Buy, through forecasting, analytics, inventory flow optimization, and effective communication.  In this role you will provide critical sales coordination between our key customers with the Senior National Account Managers to achieve profitable sales. This role is responsible for assisting the sales team to optimize existing accounts and prospects. Interface with other departments as needed to drive business within accounts and resolve any issues that may arise. In addition to retail and operational management responsibilities, this role will also collaborate with internal stakeholders from operations, finance, supply/customer service, product management and marketing. We are looking for a high-energy, creative and business-savvy individual with high growth potential to join our Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate an ability to build and/or establish strong relationships with major accounts (specifically Target and Best Buy) including product managers, buyers, planners, merchandise planning teams, etc.
  • Analyze sales and supply performance metrics and identify issues and root-causes, ultimately solving performance issues or problems.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of sales, returns, credits, quotes, promotions, sell through, inventory management, forecasts, and any other account activities that will impact financial results for the accounts.
  • Analysis of retailer sell-through trends, making recommendations for changes to the retailer forecasts, lifts for promotional periods and incremental sales opportunities for store expansion.
  • Marketing coordination in support of Retail accounts:  set-up, tracking and management of retailer marketing funds, online advertising, and creative content coordination.
  • Manage all third party vendors for displays, including vendor sourcing, RFQ, coordinating creative, approval process internal/retailers, coordinating shipments to retailer and project management against retailer timelines.
  • New Item Setup: Internal SKU request and coordinating  packaging assets for purchasing. External, completing set up documents and WERCS registration.
  • Travel to tradeshows and customer sites required.  Depending on assignment, international travel may be required.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years of account experience; national retail account experience with Target and Best Buy required.
  • Working knowledge of Target’s POL internal systems and Best Buy portal systems, including internal item set-up, retailer forecasting and inventory systems and online reporting tools.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of effectively liaising with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience leveraging data to retail analytic application, forecasting and inventory management capabilities, i.e. syndicated data (Circana, 3PL data systems, Google sheets, etc) and incorporating customer specific data into these tools.

For Colorado-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $90 - 110k based on experience and for California-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $90 - 110k based on experience.
