About the Role:
The National Field Education Manager is a high-impact leadership role dedicated to the "people" and "practice" of OLAPLEX education. You are the driving force behind our boots-on-the-ground execution, focusing on the development, quality, and performance of our field personnel. By managing our Regional Education Managers and a vast network of freelancers, you ensure that every stylist interaction reflects our "Best-in-Class" standards. Additionally, you will lead the education strategy for our independent distributors, providing premium support to high-influence salons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Directly lead and mentor the Regional Education Manager (REM) team, providing the coaching and oversight necessary for them to excel in their territories
- Network Oversight: Manage the broader network of Educators, ensuring a cohesive and motivated external workforce
- Talent Acquisition: Proactively identify and recruit new Educators to scale the team effectively based on regional business demands
- Technical Standards: Standardize and conduct rigorous Technical Evaluations to ensure all educators are delivering brand-perfect service rituals and product knowledge
- Training Meetings: Facilitate high-level training meetings that keep the field team at the forefront of technical innovation and competitive trends
- Performance Benchmarks: Monitor field reporting and data entry, ensuring the REM team consistently meets and exceeds engagement benchmarks and KPIs
- Independent Distributor Strategy: Oversee the education roadmap for Independent Distributors, tailoring support to meet the specific needs of high-influence KOL salons
- Field Logistics: Ensure all educators have the necessary tools, products, and training assets to deliver seamless, premium educational experiences in the salon environment
- Brand Advocacy: Act as the primary technical voice in the field as product knowledge expert, translating complex product science into actionable education that drives stylist loyalty and sales
About You:
- 8 + years licensed cosmetologist by State Board in the field of Cosmetology
- 5+ years’ experience in education management
- Expert knowledge of developing trainings for different learning styles
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs
- Experience creating and presenting education programs
- Competence in managing budgets and financial targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confidence when addressing both key stakeholders and new audiences alike
- Proficient user of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive and Asana
- Ability to manage, lead and inspire others to accomplish tasks and duties
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time to meet deadlines
- Ability and willingness to travel 60% of the time

Our Total Rewards:
The annual base pay for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
