Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test equipment. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work. May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Daily Activities:
- Adheres to and applies safety procedures within Lab environment.
- Assures all Personnel follow safety protocols within lab environment.
- Performs/supports safety audits routinely and manages hazardous/chemical supplies as necessary according to site safety, local or state requirements.
- Conduct routine testing and checks of common safety equipment, including eyewashes, safety showers, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and AEDs as required.
- Responsible for timely material processing & data collection meeting Product development schedule requirements.
- Take ownership as required for the proper inventory/sustaining of required lab supplies.
- Track/monitor Test Equipment & measurement tooling against preventative Maintenance and Calibration schedule.
- Uses Lab workflow program(s) tools supporting the movement of material from incoming to outgoing.
- Works across function to inventory management team (stores) as required.
- Tracks test interface hardware within an inventory management system in addition to preventative maintenance measures as might be required.
- Apply test equipment operational training knowledge to execute required product testing.
- Troubleshoots and resolves standard and non-standard hardware and software problems.
- Provide training on test equipment & tooling for test development users as needed.
- Performs and supports testing and documentation activities.
- Partners with Trades as necessary to facilitate required work.
- Effectively plans and participates with Management & Finance supporting Lab material Procurement requirements.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience in Semiconductor Industry with minimum Technical associate degree in Electronics Technology or similar Vocational Credentials or equivalent experience.
- Test Equipment experienced preferred: Advantest Test Equipment knowledge; overall Testers for Memory applications – Teradyne Magnum Testers; Advantest Testers including B6700, V93K, T5835 & legacy handlers – M67xx series.
- Experienced in the Application use of Microsoft Office Products Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The compensation range for this role is $[67,060] - $[100,700]. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
