WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday form 06 am till 9 am, 15 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.85 per hour

The Multiskilled Operative at ABM UK plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As part of our dedicated team, you will undertake a wide array of maintenance tasks across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and providing high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and fabrication.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of equipment and assets and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment service history.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in training and development activities to improve skill sets.

Requirements

  • Experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
  • Proficient in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in trades preferred.
