The Multimedia Designer will play a key role, taking responsibility for conceptualising, designing and producing creative visual content across the full marketing print and digital platforms. This includes both marketing print and digital materials. The ideal candidate has strong design fundamentals, excellent attention to detail and the ability to turn strategic briefs into impactful visual communication that strengthens our brand.
Main Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
• Designing marketing adverts for print and digital channels
• Developing product and service information sheets
• Designing brochures, booklets and marketing campaign collateral
• Producing motion graphics and performing basic video editing
• Creating infographics and data driven visuals
• Designing promotional items and merchandise artwork
• Developing brand stationery such as business cards, letterheads and templates
• Assisting with product packaging and logo development when required
• Creating product labels and supporting packaging design projects
Skills and Competencies
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication, time management and creative problem solving skills
• Strong computer literacy (Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to interpret and translate creative briefs accurately
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to perform under pressure
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree, Diploma or relevant qualification in Graphic Design
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro)
