Multilingual Audio Transcription Specialist (Film Dialogue)

Overview

Work on a short-term project transcribing dialogue from full-length films to help build high-quality datasets for AI and media applications.

What You’ll Do

• Transcribe movie dialogue from audio files (FLAC or similar)
• Capture all spoken content accurately, even in fast-paced or complex scenes
• Follow clear formatting guidelines to produce clean, structured transcripts
• Deliver work that is consistent and ready for downstream use

Project Details

• Short-term, project-based work
• Up to ~6 hours of work per video
• ~5 full-length films across multiple genres
• Fully remote
• Expected compensation is up to $30/hr

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Fluency in one of the following languages:
Catalan, Czech, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese
• Strong listening skills (accents, overlapping dialogue, varied audio quality)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with long-form audio (full-length films)
• Ability to follow structured guidelines

Nice to Have

• Transcription, captioning, or subtitling experience
• Familiarity with formats like SRT or VTT
• Experience with tools like oTranscribe, Express Scribe, or Subtitle Edit
