M&S Engineering - Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.), application via RippleMatch

M&S Engineering, LLC is seeking a qualified and innovative Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) at The Woodlands, Texas location with experience in the design of public works projects (electric power, roadway, drainage, water distribution, wastewater collection, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning, design and construction administration of electric infrastructure facilities/projects

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for utility infrastructure projects

• Prepare reports

• Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates

• Analyze processes based on field investigations, drawings, and specifications, and perform calculations

• Review and prepare federal, state, and local permit applications

• Perform construction observation and field engineering services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering

• 3-5 years' experience preferably in a consulting engineering environment in infrastructure facilities/projects.

• P.E. license in the State of Texas is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation

• Experience working with Utility clients

• Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting and construction administration of infrastructure improvements

• Physically able to perform work in the field

• Construction observation experience is a plus

• Detail-oriented team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and use of standard engineering software
