The Future of Healthcare Needs You

At Suki, we’re building presence at the heart of care. Our technology listens, understands, and gets out of the way — so clinicians can get back to being clinicians. Our flagship product, Suki for Clinicians, uses cutting-edge AI to automate clinical documentation in real time, reducing the time it takes to complete notes.

But that’s just the beginning. We’re now powering the next wave of voice-enabled healthcare experiences across telehealth platforms, care delivery tools, and specialty EMRs — through Suki for Partners, our proprietary AI infrastructure. Clinicians using Suki spend over 70% less time on admin. Our customers see a 9X ROI in year one. And we’re just getting started.

Suki is reimagining the healthcare technology stack to make the lives of clinicians better.

What We’re Trying to Do (And Why We Need You)

We’re not here to tweak healthcare around the edges — we’re rearchitecting it. But we can’t do that quietly. We need a presence as bold, fresh, and human as our mission. That’s where you come in.

We’re seeking a Motion Designer to join our Creative Team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining how Suki moves. You will bring the Suki brand to life through kinetic typography, UI animation, and video storytelling. You won't just be animating static assets; you will be helping to build a comprehensive motion language that spans the entire customer journey. From high-energy social content to subtle, delightful web interactions, your work will ensure that Suki’s visual identity is dynamic, engaging, and unmistakable.

You will be a key individual contributor—leading creative ideation through execution with hands-on design. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and creative leadership, working across every brand touchpoint to shape visual narratives, own projects from concept to delivery, and partner with design, product management, and engineering teams. You'll be deeply involved in the craft of design and responsible for driving the creative excellence of Suki.

Reporting directly to the Head of Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the Suki brand communicates with the world.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Motion Strategy & Brand Identity

  • Define the Motion System: Develop and maintain Suki’s motion guidelines. You will define the physics of the brand—easing, timing, transitions, and kinetic behaviors—to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Asset Management: Build a robust library of motion templates (MOGRTs) and assets that enable the wider team to produce on-brand content efficiently.
  • Brand Evolution: Work with the Head of Creative to evolve the visual identity, exploring how new design trends can be integrated into the Suki brand ecosystem.

Omnichannel Production

  • Social & Performance: Create thumb-stopping motion graphics for paid and organic social (Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts). You understand the nuances of pacing and framing for different platforms.
  • Web & Product: Collaborate with web developers and product designers to create Lottie animations, micro-interactions, and explanatory product videos that enhance the user experience.
  • Campaigns: Lead the motion design for major marketing campaigns, producing high-quality video assets for digital OOH, diverse ad formats, and event screens.
  • Video Editing: Handle editing for brand manifestos, case studies, and customer testimonials, blending footage with high-end motion graphics.

Design & Collaboration

  • Design-First Approach: You are a designer first and an animator second. You possess a strong grasp of typography, layout, color, and composition before you set keyframes.
  • Cross-Functional Work: Partner with the Copywriter to ensure timing and visuals amplify the narrative, and work alongside static designers to translate print/digital concepts into moving image.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in motion design at a creative agency, production house, or in-house marketing team.
  • Portfolio & Showreel: A killer showreel demonstrating a range of skills—from kinetic typography and logo animation to character motion and video compositing. (Please include a link to your reel in your application).
  • Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Figma Fluency: Comfortable working within Figma to extract assets and collaborate with UI/UX designers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, export settings for web/social, and compression best practices.

Nice to Haves

  • 3D Capabilities: Proficiency in Cinema 4D, Blender, or Spline.
  • Audio Skills: Ability to handle basic sound design and audio mixing to elevate your motion work.
  • Lottie/Web: Experience exporting JSON/Lottie files for web implementation.

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Are a creative thinker with a track record of translating ideas into action — and action into results.
  • Have experience growing a brand’s presence across an ecosystem of channels.
  • Love storytelling, content and experiences that make people feel.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments where you get to build, test, and learn every day.

What Makes Suki, Suki

  • A mission that matters: Suki is making healthcare technology invisible and assistive—so clinicians can focus fully on patient care.
  • A product that delivers: Our AI is used by real clinicians at real health systems — and it works.
  • A team that gets it: We’re former Googlers, Apple engineers, Stanford docs, and healthcare veterans.
