This is a full-time role. Please don't apply if you're looking for freelance work.
You'll be the first dedicated motion designer at LiveFlow, owning how our products move — the micro-interactions, transitions, loading states, and animated moments that make complex financial workflows feel simple, intuitive, and joyful.
This is a foundational role. You'll define our motion language from scratch, build the system engineers use to implement it, and work alongside product designers and engineers to ship animations that makes users love our products even more. You'll have real ownership and direct impact on how thousands of finance teams interact with our products every day.
Design UI animations, micro-interactions, and transitions across our products
Create loading states, onboarding flows, and moments of delight that elevate the product experience
Build our motion design system — defining principles for timing, easing, and movement that scale consistently across the product
Collaborate with product designers and engineers, and get into the codebase yourself to implement animations in production
Bridge the gap between design and engineering — you're as comfortable in Lottie, Rive, or Framer Motion as you are in Figma
3-5+ years of professional experience in motion design with meaningful product/UI animation work
Strong portfolio showing shipped product animations
Proficiency with Figma and prototyping motion within design workflows
Comfort working in code — whether that's CSS animations, Framer Motion, Lottie, Rive, or similar
Deep understanding of animation principles and how they translate to product interfaces
Self-directed and comfortable owning a discipline independently while collaborating closely with design and engineering
Experience producing video content, motion graphics, or brand animation
3D skills (Cinema 4D, Blender) for product visualizations
Experience in fintech, accounting software, or B2B SaaS
Experience building or contributing to a motion design system
This role can be based anywhere in Europe (remotely) and in the UK; If you're in London, you can work from our London office.
