Mortgage Underwriter Assistant (Commercial Mortgages)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Underwriter Assistant to support commercial mortgage operations. This role combines underwriting support with personal assistant duties and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive financial information. The ideal candidate will assist in loan processing, documentation review, and communication with clients and lenders to ensure smooth underwriting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and track lender conditions for commercial mortgage applications.
• Assist with end-to-end loan processing and underwriting support.
• Collect and organize financial and personal data from clients.
• Review credit reports and flag issues for underwriter review.
• Prepare, compile, and package documentation for underwriting submission.
• Coordinate communication between borrowers, lenders, and internal teams.
• Maintain organized loan files and documentation records.
• Provide personal assistant and administrative support as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial mortgage processing, underwriting support, or loan administration.
• Strong understanding of lender conditions and underwriting requirements.
• Ability to review credit reports and financial documentation.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools.
