Lucida AI is a fast-growing AI startup building speech-based AI learning and conversational applications used by millions of users globally. We are looking for a Monetization Intern who wants to learn how subscription and in-app purchase monetization works at scale and help optimize revenue across our mobile apps.
This role is highly hands-on and ideal for candidates who are curious about subscriptions, paywalls, pricing experiments, and gamification-driven monetization.
What You’ll Do
- Support optimization of in-app purchases, subscriptions, and offer structures (weekly, monthly, yearly plans, trials, intro offers).
- Help design monetization mechanics connected to gamification features (rewards, streaks, unlockable premium features).
- Assist in analyzing paywall and purchase funnel performance (conversion, trial activation, renewal).
- Support execution of A/B tests on pricing, bundles, messaging, and paywall layouts.
- Track key monetization metrics such as conversion rate, ARPU, retention, and churn.
- Research competitor monetization strategies and summarize insights.
- Work closely with Product, Growth, and Design teams to improve revenue performance.
Requirements
- 3rd or 4th year university student or recent graduate (Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields).
- Strong interest in mobile apps, monetization, pricing, or growth.
- Analytical mindset and comfort working with data (Excel / Sheets preferred).
- Curiosity about subscription business models and experimentation.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Able to work full-time internship (3–6 months).
