Mobile Network Software Engineer | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a Mobile Network Software Engineer to strengthen our developers’ team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your programming skills.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure stable functionality and flawless integration of cellular networking features within the overall software stack.
• Solve complex problems in cellular network devices and their communication with other network equipment.
• Integrate and validate new cellular modules within the RUTOS, ensuring seamless interaction with existing networking and management subsystems.
• Communicate with cellular modem vendors to discuss new feature integration and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Analyse new possible use cases and their integration possibilities.
• Support colleagues from Product Compliance Department during product certification process.
• Work in team.

What we expect of you:

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience in C programming.
• Experience in Shell scripting.
• Experience in Git version control system.
• Experience in Linux based systems.
• Good written and verbal English skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Technical education.
• Experience in applying basic networking concepts and cellular network technologies.
• Knowledge of cellular network standards defined by 3GPP, eSIM specifications defined by GSMA.
• Experience with cellular network test equipment.
• Experience of working with OpenWrt.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~3340 Eur— 6680 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
