About the Project
We are working on a fintech platform delivering secure, high-performance native mobile applications with real-time financial data and Core Banking integrations. The platform covers two key workstreams: native mobile SDK standardization and Personal Finance Management (PFM) features.
The team operates with an AI Agent-Driven development approach - AI agents are actively used in daily workflows for development, testing, and quality assurance.
About the Role
We are looking for a Mobile Engineer (iOS or Android) to join an onsite team working on native mobile applications. You will contribute to both SDK standardization and new PFM feature development, working closely with backend systems and Core Banking integrations. Strong AI agent proficiency is required alongside solid native development skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native mobile applications (iOS / Android)
- Work on SDK standardization: refactor and improve existing native SDK components for consistency, maintainability, and test coverage
- Implement PFM features involving financial data, transaction categorization, and real-time data flows
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services, Core Banking connectors, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
- Handle sensitive mobile flows including OTP verification, eKYC, and secure authentication with appropriate care and judgment
- Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, data synchronization, and edge case handling
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices
- Apply AI agent-based development approaches in daily workflows - using agents to implement from spec, generate tests, and handle refactoring tasks, while owning architectural decisions and business logic review
Requirements
- Over 3 years of experience in mobile development (iOS or Android)
- Strong experience with:
- iOS: Swift / UIKit (SwiftUI is a plus)
- Android: Kotlin / Java
- Solid understanding of native mobile architecture (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture) and backend integration patterns
- Experience working with REST APIs; familiarity with real-time or event-driven systems is a plus
- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and writing testable code
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in real development work
- Comfortable working in an environment where AI agents are part of the daily development workflows
Nice to have
- Experience working with banking SDKs or financial system integrations
- Familiarity with Personal Finance Management (PFM) features or financial data domains
- Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka or similar) or wide-column databases (Cassandra)
- Experience in fintech, banking, or high-security systems
- Good English communication skills
