Your Mission
As a Mobile Engineer at SpotmyEnergy, you build and evolve the core B2C app that puts intelligent energy management directly into the hands of our customers. Your focus is on delivering a smooth and reliable mobile experience on iOS and Android with Flutter. You care deeply about building the best possible product, and see smart trade‑offs as part of shipping excellent mobile experiences. Together with other Engineers and the Product team, you turn complex energy use cases into simple, intuitive flows, making sustainable energy usage transparent and convenient.
Your Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Development: Implement and maintain features in our Flutter-based B2C app for iOS and Android.

App Lifecycle Ownership: Contribute to the full lifecycle of the app from feature implementation and testing to releases and ongoing maintenance.

Store Management: Support the management of our apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including releases, updates and basic metadata handling.

Quality & Reliability: Write clean, testable code and help keep performance, stability and user experience at a high level.

Collaboration: Work closely with other App Developers, Product, Design and Backend Engineers to refine requirements and ship user-centric features.

Monitoring & Feedback: Help track app health and user feedback, and support in turning insights into improvements.
Your Profile

Shipped Apps: You have already shipped and maintained at least one app on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store that is used by real users.

Flutter Skills: Solid hands-on experience with Flutter and building production-ready mobile apps.

iOS & Android: Strong understanding of iOS and Android platforms, including core platform concepts like navigation, permissions and app lifecycle.

Store Management: Experience with App Store Connect and Google Play Console (e.g. creating releases, managing tracks, handling screenshots and descriptions) is a strong plus.

Dynamic Environments: Experience in a dynamic environment, ideally in a B2C scale-up or in a startup or agency where you learned to balance speed, quality and pragmatic trade-offs.

AI & Tooling: Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows (for example using AI to support implementation from Figma designs to code).

Code Quality: You care about readable code, basic testing and maintainable structures.

Customer & Product Focus: Strong interest in building products that real people use every day, an eye for good UX, and high motivation to build the best product rather than accept unnecessary compromises.

Language Skills: Very good English for teamwork and stakeholder communication; German skills are a plus.
