 Job Description 

 We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to be a part of the small team that manages and enhances the Stranger Soccer mobile app and support our web platform, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience. 

  

Role  

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the Stranger Soccer mobile app using React Native. 
  • Manage full app release cycles for Google Play Store and Apple App Store. 
  • Ensure app performance, usability, and compliance with app store guidelines. 
  • Implement new features and promptly fix bugs to maintain a seamless user experience. 
  • Integrate and manage third-party services (payments, email services, social authentication, push notifications, deep links) 
  • Support ongoing maintenance and feature development of the company website (Next.js, Tailwind CSS)   
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and marketing to ensure digital consistency. 
  • Respond to internal IT inquiries and introduce new systems when needed. 
  • Maintain documentation and evaluate emerging tools, technologies, and best practices. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software development, or a related field 
  • 3–5+ years of experience in mobile app development 
  • Strong proficiency with React Native and React.js 
  • Familiarity with Next.js and Tailwind CSS 
  • Experience deploying apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store 
  • Basic knowledge of native Android/iOS development principles 
  • Understanding of mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices 
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design and ability to translate designs into functional interfaces 
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work independently 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with analytics and crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry).  
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile development 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.  

  

Other Details  

  • 10-20 hours a week, with the possibility of growing into a full-time role  
  • Flexible working hours   
  • Excellent English communication skills 
  • Interest in football a plus 
  • Position will be virtual with occasional travel to Singapore.
