About the role

We are pushing the boundaries of vehicle profiling and valuation automation for our car sellers and dealers, and you’ll be part of that! Are you up for the challenge?

As a Senior ML Engineer you’ll be on a mission: to create the most convenient and powerful vehicle selling experience by leveraging machine learning technology, creating amazing user journeys in our products.

This is an exciting opportunity where you’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of machine learning pipelines, ensuring the best efficiency, performance, and production maturity of our products whilst using the best ML technologies!


You will:

  • Own the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of ML models in production environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align MLOps objectives with overall business goals and priorities.
  • Identify and address technical debt in a timely manner, prioritizing long-term success and maintainability of machine learning projects.
  • Develop and implement best practices for MLOps, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based orchestration.
  • Mentor and guide team members in MLOps best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Innovate! You’ll need to stay updated with the rapidly evolving machine learning landscape, identifying and adopting new techniques, tools, and methodologies as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Expert in deploying, maintaining, and optimising deep learning pipelines, focusing on efficiency, performance, and production maturity.
  • A high level of expertise in Python, with good experience of machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Good experience with best-in-class MLOps tools, such as DVC, Weights and Biases, MLFlow, AWS SageMaker or similar.
  • Extensive devops experience, including VCS (preferably with git and GitHub), CI/CD (preferably GitHub Actions), with proven experience in release management, incorporating rigorous testing, validation and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficient in Docker and cloud-based container orchestration services.
  • Highly accomplished in common AWS services such as ECS, EC2, Fargate, S3.
