Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data scientist experienced in ML/AI to join our Analytics team. As an ML/AI Expert Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative data-driven solutions for our clients in the life sciences industry.
As a ML/AI Expert Data Scientist, you will:
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence models to analyze healthcare data

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and design data-driven solutions
- Apply your expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model selection to extract meaningful insights from large-scale datasets
- Create and maintain data pipelines and workflows for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI techniques relevant to the life sciences field
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations, communicate analytical insights to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner and contribute to scientific publications and presentations

Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership in the ML/AI domain
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in data science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning and AI, with a strong portfolio of projects related to life sciences or healthcare
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R, as well as SQL
- Utilize Databricks for scalable data processing and analysis
- Work with Snowflake data warehousing solutions for efficient data storage and retrieval

Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for scalable computing resources and cloud-based services

Expertise in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex, multidimensional data

Deep knowledge with secondary data sources including claims (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, MarketScan), affiliation, genetic testing, EMR/EHR data and other RWE data
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex analytical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders

Passion and prior experience about applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to make a meaningful impact in the field of life sciences
Base Salary is $125,000-$150,000.
