Drive research and UX practices that ensure diversity, equity and inclusion in product making decisions

Build and execute impactful research plans and activities that provide broad market views and deep customer insights needed to inform the product making process

Derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data, complementing other research that you will conduct on your own or in partnership with other researchers

Collect and analyze quantitative data using statistical methods, tools, and software packages
-
Continuously inform an engineering roadmap using customer data (qualitative and quantitative). Key to this accountability will be identifying gaps and customer pain points, as well as potential customer delighters

Interpret quantitative findings, identify patterns, correlations, and trends, and draw actionable insights to inform decision-making

Work closely with other researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to scope research strategy for your particular area throughout the entire product life cycle

Conduct in-depth interviews with customers

Execute research methodologies and conduct data analysis that provides actionable insights

Communicate research insights and opportunities effectively
We would like you to have…
-
Demonstrated expertise in quantitative research methods, including survey design, statistical analysis, and experimental design
-
Experience with qualitative research methods and data collection techniques (e.g., interviews, focus groups, observational studies)

A minimum of 6+ years of hands-on research and/or product planning experience
-
A minimum of 6+ years of experience collecting and analyzing human behavioral data and building and executing impactful research plans that provide deep customer insights to inform the product
-
Experience generating research plans, executing research studies, and conducting thorough data analysis that provides actionable insights
-
An advanced degree in HCI (human-computer interaction), market research, human factors, psychology, or a related field with a strong emphasis on research techniques and understanding humans / designing technology to meet their needs, or a BA/BS in one of these fields with significant industry experience

Ability to collaborate closely with other researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers

Ability to communicate research insights and opportunities in clear, concise, and compelling ways that resonate across all levels of the product and partner teams

Compensation Range: $55/hr. - $60/hr.
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is based on evaluation during the interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
