Middle Software Engineer (Java)

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team. You will contribute to the development of backend solutions using Java Quarkus, assist in production support, and collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.

About the Client

Our client is a leading Latin American investment bank, known for its innovation in digital banking and commitment to delivering advanced financial solutions across markets.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in agile software development practices
• Maintain close communication with business areas and other IT teams
• Develop backend solutions using Java Quarkus
• Assist in maintaining the production environment

What You Bring

• Experience with Java development (Java 8–11)
• Knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency in MySQL
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneous requests
• Experience working in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to address problems and collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

• English proficiency is a plus, but not mandatory
• Familiarity with REST architecture
• Experience with Java Quarkus and/or Spring Boot
