Middle KYC Specialist

Why this role exists:

This role exists to ensure compliant and accurate KYB/KYC processes by verifying customer information, assessing risks, and supporting onboarding and reporting activities in line with regulatory requirements.

What you’ll drive:

KYB/KYC checks & verification

• Conduct background checks and verify customer information in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support onboarding by completing KYB/KYC checks and collecting required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all KYB/KYC activities and documentation.

Risk assessment & escalation

• Identify and assess risks related to client relationships.
• Escalate suspicious or high-risk cases to the KYC Team Lead.
• Support AML & CFT–related daily tasks when acting as a backup specialist.

Compliance, reporting & data protection

• Ensure all activities follow KYC regulations, company policies, and best practices.
• Assist in preparing and submitting KYB/KYC reports for senior management.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client data in line with GDPR and data protection requirements.

What makes you a GR8 fit:

Must-have

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English level.
• Solid understanding of core KYC and CDD concepts and frameworks.
• Practical understanding of working in a KYC environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience with day-to-day team supervision.

Nice-to-have

• CKYCA or ICA certification in KYC and CDD.
