About Our Project:
Repair facility customers contact Technical Support for basic claim status inquiries or to verify the information that has been uploaded to an insurance carrier. Providing customers with this information will help eliminate the need for the user to contact us for these status updates. Providing customers with the ability to view the full claim history will provide additional detail frequently requested by customers and further reduce their need to contact Technical Support.
Project Tech Stack:
Java/J2EE, Spring boot, VueJS, Maven, Kubernetes, Kafka, APIEEE, BRE, Gitlab, Postgres DB, ELB, Amazon S3
Requirements:
- 2+ years of practical experience with developing Java REST services – Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
- 2+ years practice in writing SQL queries with Oracle, MySQL aurora, Postgres or similar technology
- 2+ years of background in developing UI with VueJS or similar technology
- 2+ years of expertise in test automation and test-driven development practices and frameworks – mutation testing, functional testing (JUnit, Cucumber), mock frameworks (Mockito, etc.), contract testing
- Competency in continuous delivery pipelines - Git, etc.
- Proficiency in API management platforms
- Knowledge of BRE tools with routing and transformation
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of defining clean APIs and interfaces using web-service technologies (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Understanding of Microservice development (Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Cloud data stores skills – S3
- Sound knowledge of at least one JavaScript/TypeScript framework (VueJs/ReactJs/Angular)
- Experience with one or more tools in SAST and DAST technologies such as Fortify, Sonatype, WebInspect, or SonarQube
- Familiarity with cloud/AWS development/engineering best practices
Responsibilities:

The Developer on this team will be responsible for the following:
- Design solutions using Java/AWS tech stack
- Develop and review code that will support multiple use cases
- Automate Testing using TDD methods
- Collaborate with the Business, Developer and architects
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment to define, design, develop, and ship new features
- Work with other product teams to integrate with their products and the environments in which they may be run
- Ensure code is well structured, maintainable, and of high quality
- Be a team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process and easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment
