What we need
We're looking for a Software Engineer with experience designing, building and maintaining high-scale, big-data distributed systems. You'll work closely with a strong team of 16 DevOps engineers across the company to deliver stable and highly scalable product.


What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate on designing and setting up new features and system improvements.
• Database Administration
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead efforts to enhance observability through advanced monitoring and logging solutions.
• Update and maintain software processes and tools.
• Bring in current IT best practices to our setup.
• Work on reducing costs for the solutions we use.

Minimum Qualifications

• Have 3+ years of direct experience working in cloud infrastructure or software development.
• 3+ years experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge in the administration of PostgreSQL
• Knowledge in the administration of Hadoop / HBase
• Programming skills in any scripting language
• Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with GCP or 3+ years experience with AWS or Azure 
• Aerospike, MongoDB experience is a plus
• Familiarity with high-scale, big-data distributed systems.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools. 
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools terraform/config connector/cross plane.
• Skills in infrastructure or cost optimization.
• Experience with AWS or Azure is preferred
