As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in bridging data science with business value by delivering high-impact solutions across diverse industries. You will work end-to-end—from gathering business requirements to developing models, evaluating outcomes, and roll-out scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to data science projects from requirements gathering to delivery for internal and external stakeholders.
- Propose solutions to business problems and ensure technical delivery aligns with business objectives.
- Ensure data reliability and conduct data analytics and predictive modeling leveraging statistical and machine learning techniques, with continuous model validation, anomaly detection, and performance optimization to enhance the outcomes.
- Coordinate with team members on project tasks and timelines.
- Design and implement solutions including model development, deployment.
- Support and collaborate with other Data Scientists and cross-function team members through knowledge sharing and code reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 3-4+ years of experience applying machine learning, data analytic, optimization, or statistics.
- Skilled in data quality assessment, anomaly detection, to ensure reliable data-driven insights.
- Proven hands-on experience in building, evaluating, and applying models for predictive modeling, time-series analysis, and data quality (e.g., anomaly detection).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with relevant data science libraries.
- Capable of maintaining comprehensive project documentation, version control.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and translate feedback into improvements.
- Fluent in English (e.g. IELTS or TOEIC is preferred).
Preferred:
- Knowledge or hand-on practices of MLOps practices
- Experience with data pipeline design and process automation.
- Ability to research and translate technical papers into practical implementations.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices.
