We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Plumbing Engineer and Project Manager with 5–10 years of design experience in residential and commercial real estate projects to join a growing MEP engineering team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position requires strong technical design knowledge, project leadership ability, and hands-on experience delivering plumbing system solutions for high-rise and real estate developments.

The ideal candidate has prior experience working at MEP consulting firms supporting multi-story residential and commercial projects. Proficiency in Revit and CAD-based engineering design is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead plumbing system design and project management for residential and commercial real estate developments, including high-rise structures.
  • Develop plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, equipment schedules, and technical construction documents using Revit and CAD tools.
  • Perform engineering calculations for system sizing, flow requirements, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate plumbing engineering work with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and construction teams.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical quality standards.
  • Provide construction administration support including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC, UPC, and applicable local building and safety codes.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and support client communication throughout project phases.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of plumbing design experience in residential and commercial real estate projects, preferably high-rise developments.
  • Mid to senior-level experience working at MEP consulting engineering firms.
  • Proficiency in Revit and CAD design software is required.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing engineering principles and building code requirements.
  • Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
  • EIT or PE license preferred or in progress.
  • Strong client-facing communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
