We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and skilled Mid/Mid+ Level Technical Writer to convey complex information and functionalities into readable, user-friendly documentation.
Position Title: Mid Level Technical Writer
Location: Remote - LATAM
What you will be doing:
We seek a skilled professional capable of producing high-quality written content across various products and services. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with software developers, engineers, and analysts to create technical documents, including guidelines, manuals, user guides, knowledge bases, and other tools to enhance the user experience and ensure content quality. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with software development, engineering, and QA departments to understand the product and documentation requirements.
Design technical documentation that meets internal standards and transforms a complex topic into clear and understandable content.
Analyze existing and potential content to provide corrections, suggestions, and enhancements.
Strictly follow internal and external editorial guidelines for articles, blogs, emails, and other content requirements.
Conduct technical interviews to understand the product and the documentation requirements.
Coordinate content writing efforts and editorial processes with the team to create knowledge bases and other information structures.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
3+ years of experience in corporate or technical writing.
Good knowledge of technical writing principles, strong writing skills, and solid writing portfolio.
Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and SEO tools, and a basic understanding of software development principles.
Experience documenting existing code and stories on Postman.
Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, engineers, analysts).
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
Ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences.
Critical thinking and analytical skills for content quality assurance.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git (GitHub/Bitbucket).
Exposure to Jenkins or similar tools for deployment jobs.
Familiarity with VS Code to edit content and push changes.
Experience with documentation platforms such as ReadMe, Mintlify, or self-hosted tools.
