Zipdev is looking for a passionate Machine Learning Engineer who will be an indispensable member of our Web Technology department. You will be part of a highly collaborative team of developers in a fast-paced and proactive environment. Your knowledge of the latest techniques and frameworks used to create fast, efficient, dynamic, scalable web apps will help us change modern education.
As a Mid/Sr Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing machine learning models and data science solutions to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to design and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines. Your expertise in Python and TensorFlow will be critical in developing robust models, optimizing algorithms, and conducting experiments to improve model performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms using Python and TensorFlow.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to define and refine project requirements.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to uncover meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Build scalable machine learning pipelines to process, clean, and transform large volumes of data.
- Train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine learning models to optimize performance and accuracy.
- Deploy models in production environments and monitor their performance in real time.
- Conduct experiments and A/B testing to improve model performance and evaluate the impact of new features and algorithms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science techniques and identify opportunities to apply them to real-world problems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate machine learning models into existing systems and applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years for Mid-level, 5+ years for Senior-level) working as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its scientific computing libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc.).
- Extensive experience with TensorFlow and other deep learning frameworks.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised techniques.
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying machine learning models in a cloud environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
