Mid/Senior DevOps Engineer | Networking Solutions

We are looking for a skilled Mid/Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing R&D team in Kaunas, Lithuania to help us grow our global presence in IoT sector by quickly and effectively responding to changing market needs and offers reliable, safe and easy-to-use solutions for such areas as Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
• Automate infrastructure creation and service deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and services.
• Solve complex, varied tasks.
• Analyze and implement new technologies.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.
• Provide technical support for colleagues.

What we expect of you:

• Experience writing Shell/Python scripts or Go programs.
• Experience using GitLab CI/CD or similar system to build and deploy projects.
• Experience with virtualization tools such as Vagrant or VirtualBox.
• Experience deploying services with Docker.
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (for example: IAM, Route 53, VPC, EC2, and S3 buckets).
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems (for example Debian/Ubuntu and CentOS/RHEL).
• Knowledge of computer networking.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience configuring load balancing rules with Nginx, HAProxy, and nftables.
• Experience deploying services with Kubernetes.
• Experience working with other cloud providers, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience setting up Prometheus, Grafana, and metric/log exporters to monitor systems and services.
• Experience deploying and maintaining PostgreSQL and Redis databases.
• Experience with Ansible, Packer, Terraform, or other automation tools to create Infrastructure as Code and automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 26 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h pre-tax (~4340Eur— 6680Eur) depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
