As a Mid QA for our Managed Services clients, you will work in cross-functional, innovative, agile-tech teams to ensure quality is consistent throughout the development process. You will play a key role in planning and executing test phases while being an integral part of a QA team to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to unify testing practices across teams and leave a lasting mark on our technology stack. 

Your activities will include:

·         Identify regression scenarios from functional test cases and automate them using defined frameworks and data strategies.

·         Design, code, and maintain automated scripts, functions, and libraries to streamline testing processes and reduce manual tasks.

·         Collaborate with development and database teams to troubleshoot complex technical or end-user scenarios.

·         Generate suitable test data to validate critical requirements and business rules, exposing regressive defects.

·         Test REST APIs with JSON/XML data using tools such as Swagger, Postman, and/or SoapUI.

·         Write basic SQL queries for validating and sorting out data.

·         Debug UI errors and data validation errors in both Web and Desktop based apps

·         Plan, drive, and develop automation frameworks while building smoke and regression suites.

Utilize exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to prepare release notes and end-user documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·         3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.

·         Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript.

·         Experience with CI tools such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, or Github.

·         Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies, with demonstrable experience in Agile environments.

·         Experience with front-end automation testing tools Playwright.

·         Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

·         Understanding of Accessibility principles.

·         Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Demonstrated strong technical initiative by independently triaging high-priority issues and coordinating rapid collaborative fixes under tight deadlines.
