What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly organized professional to support the success of our core data platform. This position serves as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical partners, responsible for translating complex operational needs into clear data requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring our data warehouse remains a reliable and scalable 'source of truth' for the organization. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in logistics and proven experience in process and project management who is eager to transition into a specialized, data-focused product career. The successful candidate will leverage valuable operational insights while demonstrating a strong willingness to grow into a well-rounded product expert.  Your responsibilities include:
  • Translate complex business needs from stakeholders into clear technical requirements and detailed user stories, maintaining comprehensive documentation in Jira and Confluence.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business consumers and technical teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding release notes, project status, and data availability.
  • Manage the Analytics Engineering request queue by applying process management principles to track work and support the prioritization of tasks based on business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics and Data Engineering teams to proactively identify upcoming application or schema changes and assess potential downstream impacts on the data platform.
  • Lead the triage process for data quality issues by coordinating between data producers and consumers to facilitate timely investigation and resolution.
  • Contribute actively to all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, and retrospectives, to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Support the end-to-end execution of key data initiatives, such as source migrations and new event tracking implementations, from the initial discovery phase through to internal release.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related operational role.
  • Strong background in the logistics industry, providing essential context for core business drivers.
  • Proven experience in process management and translating business needs into detailed user stories and technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in writing requirements and maintaining team documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Practical experience participating in Agile team ceremonies (e.g., standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for effective stakeholder management and coordination.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning new product-specific methodologies and tools.

Nice to have

  • A basic understanding of SQL and Snowflake to assist with data exploration.
  • Familiarity with product management frameworks related to strategy, growth, and delivery.
  • Previous experience working within a technical or data-focused environment
