About the role

This key role is responsible for overseeing our IT infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance, while maintaining security standards which align with our business needs and surpass industry requirements. Deliverables will include managing email services and end users’ devices, providing IT support, enhancing IT systems, and maintaining documentation.

Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services and the effective management of our resources. You will be part of a dynamic team where collaboration and teamwork are crucial and providing support and mentorship to less experienced team members level-up is profoundly beneficial to the team's success.

What You'll do

• Manage and optimize our networks, servers, and technology tools to ensure peak performance and business continuity.
• Install, configure, and upgrade new hardware and software to support our company's needs.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce security protocols to proactively protect our systems from threats.
• Onboard new employees and manage user accounts and access permissions across our systems.
• Create and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
• Handle data backup and archiving and document all IT processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by staying current with the latest advancements in IT administration.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a System IT Administrator, IT Helpdesk, IT Administrator Analyst or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
• Proven proficiency in Google Services Administration.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a resourceful approach to challenges.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. Antivirus, F/W) and data backup/recovery is a plus
• Google Workspace Administration
• Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA and Confluence is a plus
• Technological certifications required. Bachelor's certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory
