ABOUT THE ROLE
You will support the design, build, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA business and technical roles within major transformation projects. You will collaborate with senior consultants to translate business requirements into secure authorization concepts and support the implementation of Fiori-based role architecture.
This role is ideal for consultants with solid hands-on experience in roles and authorizations who want to deepen their expertise in business role modeling, app mapping, and SAP governance frameworks.
You will be seamlessly embedded in the SAP DACH organization with 4 competence centers and their experienced and collaborative consultants. You will report to the team Lead for SAP Lithuania, which belongs functionally to the portfolio “SAP Transformation” and work in close alignment with the SAP consulting organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer S/4HANA on Premise and Cloud implementation projects.
Support the creation and maintenance of SAP Business Roles and Technical Roles in S/4HANA.
Assist in workshops with business stakeholders to capture and structure access needs.
Build and maintain Fiori catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, and app-role mappings.
Perform authorization troubleshooting during design, test, and hypercare phases.
Run SoD checks and support mitigation processes aligned with SAP GRC Access Control.
Maintain SU24 values, authorization proposals, and documentation for role design.
Prepare test scripts, support test execution, and document results.
Support integration with IAM/IDM and user provisioning workflows.
Ensure role consistency across development, quality, and productive environments.
Participate in cutover, migration, and hypercare activities related to user and role preparation.
Demonstrate continuous learning to grow into senior-level responsibilities over time.
REQUIREMENTS
Fluency in English; German skills - beneficial.
Completed degree in IT, business informatics, engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in SAP roles and authorizations.
Experience in building S/4HANA roles; understanding of Business Role vs. Technical Role concepts.
Basic understanding of Fiori role-building components (catalogs, spaces, pages).
Exposure to SAP GRC AC (ARA, ARM, EAM).
Ability to analyze authorization issues and propose solutions.
Understanding of core business processes and how they influence access requirements.
Strong documentation discipline and familiarity with governance frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex security topics in business-friendly language.
Ideally experienced in working in virtual teams and international environment.
High customer orientation, service attitude and business acumen.
Good communication skills and collaborative mindset.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
High level of structure, accountability, and willingness to grow professionally.

Knowledge of ECC security and migration considerations for S/4HANA.
Experience working in multi-system and multi-entity landscapes.
